A reason to NOT eat LCHF!

I know you can avoid this in a LCHF diet but generally this is what LCHF-people eat a lot of... It seems like they only care about carbs vs fat and nothing else. I have changed my mind quite a lot about LCHF the last months but I will explain better why later on.



Processed meat ‘boosts pancreatic cancer risk' 

Eating processed meat, including bacon and sausages, has been linked to a 10% increase in the risk of pancreatic cancer, according to new research from Sweden.

  1. Since most processed meat is consumed as hamburgers it is surprising to hear the results of this study without any consideration to what was eaten TOGETHER with the processed meat!
    Likely companions with hamburgers:
    Chips fried in unhealthy polyunsatureted fats -omega-6, Sugar laden ketchup and mustard, Coke, Seven up, wheat breads. With LCHF protein = meat intake is not increased. Carbs are replaced with fat and portion size, meal frequency and even body weight(!) reduce because hunger reduces. A study on chips would probably give same result simply due to standard meal composition.
